The advisory system for blast furnace foremen, based on additional data sources, provides the following functions:

Optimal modes and burden

Calculating recommendations for the foreman on real-time control of blast furnace operating modes and for the technical personnel of the blast furnace shop on optimizing the iron ore raw material structure (sinter ratio).

Team efficiency

Evaluation of blast furnace operating mode efficiency with a breakdown of results by shift teams based on specific indicators.

Regulation and instrumentation control

Automated monitoring and report generation regarding compliance with technological regulations, instrumentation performance, and blast furnace mode efficiency, categorized by shift teams.

Data visualization

Collection, processing, storage, and visualization of technological parameters of blast furnace operation in the form of mimic diagrams, tables, or charts.

How it works

Additional data sources
In addition to standard sensors (temperature, pressure, blast flow), data from burden positioning systems, coke and sinter granulometry analyzers, and thermal imaging control of tuyere zones are integrated.
Furnace mathematical model
Using regression analysis and neural network algorithms, the system predicts changes in the gas-dynamic mode when the sinter ratio changes and recommends adjustments to the foreman.
Advisory interface
Recommendations are displayed on the foreman's workstation as a furnace mimic diagram with color-coded hazard zones and specific commands: "increase sinter ratio by 2%", "reduce blast pressure by 0.5 kPa", etc.
