ABOUT THE ROBOTIC COMPLEX

This modern industrial robot is designed to automate high-precision sampling and temperature measurement processes in molten steel within electric arc furnaces. Using this complex allows for increased measurement accuracy, reduced risks of personnel injury, and optimization of the production process. Implementing such a solution improves shop productivity, reduces the likelihood of errors, and creates safe working conditions for personnel.

Preparation

The operator installs the sampler/thermocouple onto specialized tooling from a safe distance behind a protective shelter.

Activation

The operator initiates the robotic complex program.

Immersion

The industrial manipulator moves the sampler/thermocouple to the observation window of the electric arc furnace.

Data collection

The consumable block is immersed into the molten metal for sampling/temperature measurement.

Return

The industrial manipulator moves the sampler/thermocouple to the shelter for further dispatch to the laboratory.
