Robotic complex for stamping press automation based on two industrial manipulators

Replaces manual labor of smiths engaged in feeding blanks from the furnace to the press and direct operation with the press

ABOUT THE ROBOTIC CELL

This robot is designed for full automation of preparation, installation, and removal operations of parts in the die, as well as providing necessary auxiliary functions during stamping press operation. This innovative solution reduces manual labor, increases productivity, and improves the quality of finished products.

Unloading and feeding

Unloading heated blanks from the furnace and transferring them to a conveyor that feeds the working area of the first industrial robot, which includes a blank orientation system.

Installation into the impression

Industrial manipulator #1 uses a specialized water-cooled gripper to place the blank from the conveyor into the upsetting impression, while dosing lubricant onto the blank.

Transfer and lubrication

Industrial manipulator #1 transfers the upset blank to the final press impression, while dosing lubricant.

Removing the stamping

Industrial robot #2 uses a specialized water-cooled gripper to remove the stamping from the final impression and place it into a container.
